Inventory Reorder Point Calculator Template

A real spreadsheet for knowing exactly when to reorder stock, not a gut-feel guess. Enter your average daily units sold, supplier lead time, and the safety stock buffer you want to keep, and it calculates your reorder point automatically. Enter your current stock on hand and it tells you — as a true/false flag — whether you're at or below that point, and by how many units.

Frequently asked questions

How is the reorder point calculated?
Reorder point = (average daily units sold × lead time in days) + safety stock. It's the stock level at which you should place your next order so you don't run out before the new stock arrives.
Does this show a text status like "Reorder Now"?
Not yet — the Needs Reorder field is a TRUE/FALSE flag based on whether your current stock is below the reorder point, not a styled status label. The number itself (and the units-below-reorder-point figure) tells you what you need to know.
Is this free to use?
Yes, on FLYNT's free plan — no credit card required.
